Abstract

Scrapbooks, audio tape recordings, and phonograph records related to the Greater State Street Council in Chicago (Ill.). Sound recordings include promotional broadcasts by celebrities such as Roy Rogers and Chicago mayors. Three scrapbooks (ca. 1953-1957) contain research and promotional materials, including newspaper clippings and descriptions of and plans for State Street Days events. One scrapbook is titled Downtown Detroit Days.
